Domicile

Domicile (2022) is another Drawing 2 homework project. This prompt varies Strata and Larger Than Life in that we were asked to work a 3x3' area of material and pick multiple objects to elucidate a particular feeling, respectively. The feeling of home was never really a specific location but the specific feeling I get when I'm with my found family. So, I collaged an array of images that I made with Indian ink, oil pastels, graphite, and pen. This theme of mixed media throughout my work is essential to my style since I believe that I cannot stick to one medium to express what I see.
