STRATA

STRATA (2022) was a homework project from my Drawing 2 class. My Professor used this assignment as a way for students to open themselves up to letting loose and letting go of the innate perfectionism associated with drawing as an art form. The prompt involved making any mark on five sheets of paper, then layering and subsequently stripping the layers to create a whole image. The photo pictured above best represents my style as an artist, in that I love immersing myself into each work with either found materials shown here or through symbols that will be pictured in the rest of my pieces on this site.
